CIVILEN 2050: Probabilistic Applications and Data Interpretation

An undergraduate course in the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering at The Ohio State University.

The course covers probability and statistics as they are used in civil and environmental engineering practice: probability models and random variables, descriptive and inferential statistics, hypothesis testing, and regression — with an emphasis on interpreting real engineering data and reasoning about uncertainty in design decisions.
